Let’s help improve the well-being of children in the SOS villages of Latvia, their foster parents, and families who are in crisis situations.

In the SOS Children’s Villages in Latvia, there are children who have lost their families due to various circumstances. In these family-like homes, SOS foster parents provide a loving environment, but they need our support to provide even more.

Community project “Listen – Hear – Support” is focused on helping ISLĪCE SOS CHILDREN’S VILLAGE, RIGA SOS FAMILY SUPPORT CENTER and VALMIERA SOS CHILDREN’S VILLAGE.

The Fenix Charity Fund is supporting the VALMIERA SOS CHILDREN’S VILLAGE by launching a fundraising campaign for the purchase of equipment for the Nature Aesthetics Studio and the Music Therapy Room.

Together with you, we can support and create a music therapy room and a nature aesthetics studio for the children.

For ISLĪCE SOS CHILDREN’S VILLAGE, €12,900 has been raised to rebuild the porches of 12 homes, ensuring the safety of children and foster parents.

For the RIGA SOS FAMILY SUPPORT CENTER, €2,900 has been raised to renovate two rooms where children and parents can receive the necessary support during crisis situations, including soft furnishings, wall paint, tables, and lamps.

Music therapy room

Music therapy uses music for therapeutic purposes, applying sound, rhythm, melody, and harmony in individual or group processes. Its aim is to promote communication, learning, mobilization, and expression, thereby improving physical, mental, and social well-being and developing an individual’s potential for a better quality of life.

Nature aesthetics studio

The Nature Aesthetics Studio promotes children’s emotional and creative development, as well as helping to develop sensory and social skills. It provides children with the opportunity to explore nature, reduce stress, and promote well-being by offering a harmonious and peaceful environment that stimulates imagination and creative thinking. The studio also fosters children’s connection to the surrounding world, enhancing their emotional balance and self-expression.
