The Children and Youth Para Sports Association is proud to announce the successful completion of our para sports event, held this July in Liepāja, Latvia.
The success of this groundbreaking event was made possible thanks to the generous support of key sponsors, including Charity Fund Fenix, Liepājas Pašvaldība (Liepāja Municipality), LVAGROO, LPK, LIVEINTEGRO, HENKEL, VENDEN, LNK, EUROLED, EUROFLIZES, CORALCLUB, ir MAXIMA. Their commitment helped create a truly inclusive and inspiring experience for everyone involved.
Together, we created an atmosphere of joy, inclusion, beauty, and friendship for our little heroes.
About the Event
From July 3–6, 2025, the Latvian Youth Para Sports Games took place at the Liepāja Olympic Centre, bringing together children and youth with disabilities for an inspiring multisport competition. Both beginners and experienced young athletes had the opportunity to compete in six different sports, discover new activities, make friends, build confidence, and find lasting motivation for the future.
Approximately 36 participants took part in the event, supported by coaches, organizers, and volunteers — creating an inclusive and supportive environment of around 80 people.
The Children and Youth Para Sports Association successfully raised funds to cover the event’s key costs, including venue rental, accommodations, meals, and logistics. The competition was widely shared through social media, the association’s website, and covered by TV outlets, showcasing powerful images, video highlights, and the achievements of the young athletes.
This event was more than just a competition — it became a platform for joy, unity, personal growth, and inspiration, offering unforgettable memories to all involved.
