Support an Empowering Sports Event for Children with Disabilities
The Children and Youth Para Sports association is currently raising funds for their upcoming para sports event taking place this July in Liepāja, Latvia. Your support can help us turn young athletes’ with disabilities determination, goals, aspirations, and wishes into unforgettable moments, into victory, into big achievements! Let’s unite to give joy, beauty, memories, friendship to our little heroes!
About the Event:
In these competitions, children and young people, both beginners and experienced athletes, will have the opportunity to compete and show their strength in six different sports, discover new ones, make friends, gain confidence, and find inspiration for the future. The competition will take place in Liepāja, at the Liepāja Olympic Center, from July 3-6, 2025. It is currently planned that approximately 40 participants will take part in the competition – athletes, as well as coaches, organizers, and volunteers, making a total of about 80 people. The Children and Youth Para Sports Association is currently raising 30,000 EUR to cover venue rental, accommodations, meals, and related costs. These competitions will be covered on BJPSA’s social networks and on its website. The event will be shared via social media, with photos, a video, and planned TV news outlets coverage. The goal is not only yo host a world-class event – but to give young people with disabilities positive emotions and inspiration for the future!
Let’s Build Children’s Par Sport Together!
The Children and Youth Para Sports Association is looking for partners and sponsors in Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia to support children with disabilities through sports. Every child deserves the chance to move, grow, and feel included. For children with special needs, sports is more than physical activity – it’s confidence, friendship, and joy. The mission is to provide trainings, camps, and events that inspire and transform lives.
About the Organization:
The Children and Youth Para Sports Association organizes and provides sports classes, parasports masterclasses, camps, and various events for children and young people with disabilities in various cities across Latvia. The goal of the association is to popularize parasports and an active lifestyle among children and young people with disabilities, as well as to involve them in sports activities and a healthy, active lifestyle. The members of the association’s classes regularly attend parasports training and participate in local and international competitions, where they represent various sports such as swimming, tennis, archery, boccia, table tennis, para curling, etc.Children and young people enjoy participating in events where they can use the knowledge and skills they have acquired, so we often organize parasports competitions. We are planning to organize various competitions in Latvia. The largest of them is the Latvian Youth Para Sports Games 2025.
