We help newborns to start breathing independently

Current status: Successful completion.

Thanks to the collaboration between the Fenix Charity Fund and Walletto, the Neonatology Center at Vilnius University Hospital Santaros Klinikos has received the Infant Ventilation Care System – SLE6000. This modern device is the latest generation of neonatal mechanical ventilators and plays a crucial role in providing life-saving respiratory support for premature babies but also minimizes damage to the newborn’s fragile lungs.

About the project:

At the moment, Vilnius University Children’s Hospital is in need of an additional Infant Ventilation Care Systems – SLE6000. Together, we can help the little patients of the hospital.

“One of the most important for little patients is artificial lung ventilation devices, without which the nursing and survival of premature babies are unthinkable. They make up about 75–85% of our patient population.” – Said the Director of Neonatology Center at Vilnius University Hospital Santaros klinikos, Arunas Liubsys.
